About this website

Louvre Museum Tours is an independent travel guide and affiliate website focused on visiting Louvre Museum in Paris, France.

We are not the official Louvre Museum website, are not operated by the Louvre Museum, its public operator, or any government authority, and do not directly operate tours, sell attraction tickets or process visitor bookings.

The Louvre is a large museum with timed-entry arrangements, security screening, gallery closures and changing visitor conditions. Exhibitions, access routes, opening schedules and ticket availability may change. Check current official Louvre information and your booking confirmation before your visit.

We use this information to respond to enquiries, investigate website issues, review factual corrections and communicate about matters directly related to this website.

Please do not send payment-card details, passport information, identity documents or other unnecessary sensitive information by email.

For ticket changes, cancellations, refunds or booking support, contact the company that processed your reservation.

Analytics, cookies and similar technologies

This website may use cookies, analytics tools or similar technologies for functions such as remembering preferences, understanding website usage, measuring performance or identifying affiliate referrals.

• You can usually block or delete cookies through your browser settings.
• Restricting cookies may affect certain website functions or referral tracking.
• Deleting browser cookies does not necessarily delete information already stored by a third-party provider.

Where applicable law requires consent for non-essential cookies or similar technologies, those requirements apply subject to relevant exceptions.

Affiliate links and GetYourGuide

Some booking links on this website lead to third-party providers, including GetYourGuide.

Our GetYourGuide links may include partner code PYVZALU so that referrals from this website can be identified. We may earn a commission when a qualifying booking is completed through an affiliate link.

Once you leave our website, the third party's own privacy policy, cookie policy and terms govern the information you submit there.

We do not directly receive your payment-card details, complete booking record, passenger identity information or passport details merely because you follow an affiliate link.

Third-party websites

Our guides may link to official visitor information, transport services, booking platforms and other external websites.

We do not control the privacy practices, security measures or data-retention policies of those third parties. Review their privacy information before providing personal data.

How long information may be retained

Retention depends on the type of information, why it was collected and whether it is still reasonably required for communication, technical operation, security or legal purposes.

We do not state a single fixed retention period for every category of information because different types of data may be handled differently.

You may contact us to ask about information associated with your correspondence or request deletion where applicable.

Where applicable, rights may include:

• Requesting access to personal information held about you.
• Requesting correction of inaccurate or incomplete information.
• Requesting deletion of personal information.
• Requesting restriction of certain processing.

We take reasonable steps to protect information handled through this website, but no internet transmission, website or email system can be guaranteed completely secure.

For this reason, avoid sending unnecessary sensitive or financial information through ordinary email.
